Re: Laws of MTF

While it is widely accepted by the scientific and pundit communities that athletes, generation over generation, get stronger and faster and coaching tactics and training techniques evolve, so that the stars of yesteryear would get destroyed in the modern game of most sports...

...this is not true for tennis! In fact, tennis players get WORSE over generations, with only a few exceptions. The stars of the 80s and 90s would KILL today's stars. Even some stars of the 60s and before would just humiliate some of your modern day favorites! That's why you're so stupid for liking who you like, and thinking he's good!

The strongest era of tennis can be factually proven, but there's a complicated algorithm involved wherein you divide your alltime favorite player by the square root of the year you first got interested in tennis, along with other factors.

The Olympics is either an exhibition or the most important tournament ever, based on who you ask.

Well, OK I'll go with it .

Also, I propose a new MTF law. I should go something like this 'No thread with Seppi's name in it should be posted unless Mateya reviews/approves it first' .

Seppi (or Grasspi) would be Wimbledon champion if he only had a slightly better serve.

Re: Laws of MTF

If a top player loses to a lower ranked player in three sets (BO3), that player*tanked or was injured.

If a player takes a MTO or long toilet break after a set, they are cheating and deliberately trying to delay momentum.

Only H2H wins in slams count. All other wins are irrelevant. (Nadaltard's Principle)

The Aussie is always the one at fault (Kyrgios' Law aka the Tomic Effect)

Any loss upon recent addition of a coach is the coach's fault.

Re: Laws of MTF

-Every player on tour under 25 is completely useless unless they play Federer where they always play at 1000% (slade's law)

-Every player on tour chokes or bends over when they play Nadal (slade's law)

-Anyone in the world can beat Djokovic (slade's law)

was very lucky in his slam wins)

- Nadal will win every event from now until he doesn't, because he had some set points in the matches he lost

- Peak Wawrinka has never lost a match, if Wawrinka loses, it's because he wasn't "on"

- Berdych is a disgrace

-weak era of tennis

-Generation useless (#NextGen will soon be added to the list by frustrated Fed and Nadal fans who can only watch Djokovic scoop Slams)

-everybody hates Murray except Brits, unless he's playing Djokovic in the final. Then everybody hates him for losing and his teeth.

-Every topic where he isn't praised is a personal attack on Djokovic (Chico's 1st law of tarding)

-Djokovic isn't the GOAT, but he is the BOAT (Chico's 2nd law of tarding)

-Murray is an amazing player and he'd be one of the best in history if it wasn't for Djokovic (Chico's 3rd law of tarding)

Oh boy, some gems here. Too good . Slade approves

Kudos to JGroove for starting this thread. I almost forgot about it. Good time to bump it up. Newer members do need to read it and study it.

Re: Laws of MTF

It was probably written here multiple times (maybe even by myself), but do not forget that:

If TOP player loses he is obviously tanking and/or doesn´t care. Even in final....of a slam.
