Re: ***The "Defend your title under the Miami Heat" thread***

Hi guys
Back home
All the sadness is here, after a wonderful month full of Roger, meeting friends, talking to him to Mirka, friends, I felt so great-I told him I could not ask for more, see him 2 times champion, all the trip, seeing him so often, all the gifts I got.
Something impossible to believe.
I remember last year I took a month on vacation to see all the matches on tv, and I didnt lose a match. This year I took a month of vacations to follow him, and I had the time of my life. Is funny to read that that you think Im his lucky charm, the other day one person of his family said the same!
LOLOL
I back to reality, still crying and having those nice memories... and today I had the horrible call the owner of my apartment wants to increase the rent.
Really back to reality.
I have 34 rolls to develope. No idea how I will do it.
Kisses to all and thanks for the support

If you all are getting together an RG pot for Silvy, I'll kick in!!! Or how about sending him a toy pig w/explanation for good luck It'd keep him light & laughing - and could help overcome the intimidation factor...

I checked out the link Dirk posted to match stats. The GREAT NEWS there is this. I monitored his serving stats last yr. when his feet were bothering him. You could tell 'cuz his 1st serve % fell off over the course of the tourament, and often over the course of a match. Whereas yesterday, they went 50%, 67%, 73%. And he was tired yesterday. Last yr. he was under 66%. We can tell from his play that he's feeling better than last yr.

And now he has a 2 wk. layoff before M-C- which he didn't have last yr....before encountering the Goliath of Grit...

This dream is coming to an end. I was in 2 tournaments, I saw him champion 2 times, I had a great time with Leslie, I could meet my other sisters and also, knew other rf.com fans, some incredible people.
The cherry on the icing was to meet Roger after the final and congratulate him along with my dear friend leslie. I could not ask for more. Thanks for all the messages, wishes. Thanks to Leslie,, my sis, the rf.com fans, Roger, Mirka and mom and all the great people I met on this trip.
You all made it TOO special
THANK YOU
SILVY

Ivan out-winnered Roger. That happens once in a blue moon. It was the aces that put him over the top but it was not good enough.
Yep, and there were also a lot of big serves that Fed didn't have much play on that resulted in big Ivan FH put aways that kept the winner count down. Fed also didn't have the same free flowing swings today as the groundstrokes were a bit shaky (relatively speaking of course). For Fed to have only have 36 winners in 36 games + 3 TB's is a bit unusual.
