I have to say though - that's a fairly tough field...

I wish that Nico had gone to Vienna.
I was thinking the same thing as I was looking over the list Nicofan. Wish he was playing Vienna too-and Fena will be there and that would be good for him. But Nico did improve over his performance last week so hopefully the trend will continue. Beuna Suerte Nico! :hatoff:

Hola Nico fans :wavey: I am here is sunny Stockholm, so thought I would pop in to say I have watched Nico practising at lunchtime today - with the lovely Gaby of course. Have to say he didn´t seem too happy  - there were lots of young kids about, playing and shouting and running around and he was getting really snappy about them - poor Gaby had to tell him to chill out - you know " .....look they´re only kids having fun - don´t stress so much!!" Hopefully he will be in a better mood for the rest of the week. I will do my best to watch the match with Nieminen - Jarkko is a big favourite here (being from a neighbouring country) so Nico will have the crowd against him - but hopefully he will be OK.

More when I can get another Internet connection.

Thanks dtiger!!!

Thanks Rosie for the report...ah, poor Nico, he's stressing. Two bad losses, and again, he has so many points to defend over the next 4 weeks. Could go down to like 80 in the world if he doesn't do well.

Thank goodness Gaby is there, and yes, the lovely Gaby. What a cutiepie! lol!

2005 - what a sucky year for Nico. I really want this year to be over - for good or for bad, let's just end it, see where he is, and then he and Gaby figure out the strategy for 2006.

FYI - I just saw the OOP for Monday - Nico isn't playing.

So it will be Tuesday.

BTW - its Nico's birthday tomorrow so we can't forget to put up a Feliz Cumpleanos thread either late tonight (he is after all in Sweden 6 hours ahead of Chile time so he'll be turning 26 at 6:00 p.m. tonight Chilean time...lol!) or first thing tomorrow morning. Glad he doesn't have to play on his birthday - he can relax, eat cake, and have fun! Though not too much fun cuz he has to be ready for Tuesday! :) :)

:wavey: Thanks Rosie for the report from Stockholm Rosie! It does sound like the pressure is getting to Nico. Hope he has some fun on his B-day and can chill out a bit this week. Can't help but wish he and Fena were playing the same tounament...he seems to help Nico loosen up a bit.
