Re: Grand Slam Debutantes.

Three players will get into Wimbledon for GS debuts directly to the main draw. Youngsters Chung and Zverev get in directly through ranking, while a wild card will help Broady debut. As far as I see, the last U-19 German to make a GS debut was Tommy Haas.

There are five other players who could play their way in through qualifying. This includes the 33-year-old Jan Mertl, who could equal Estrella's mark of making a debut at such a late age.

Hyeong Chung - KOR
Alexander Zverev - GER
Liam Broady - GBR

Last Korean player to debut at a GS: Hyung-Taik Lee, 2000 USO
Last German player to debut at a GS: Tim Puetz, 2014 W
Last British player to debut at a GS: Daniel Smethurst, 2014 W

Matteo Donati - ITA v. Moriya
Donati has never played a GSQR3 before.
Last Italian player to debut at a GS: Luca Vanni, 2015 RG

Marton Fucsovics - HUN v. Basilashvili
Fucsovics missed out twice in 2014 QR3s, losing in straights at Wimbledon last year.
Last Hungarian player to debut at a GS: Attila Savolt, 2000 RG

Jan Mertl - CZE v. Smith
Mertl has never played a GSQR3 in 13 years as a pro.
Last Czech player to debut at a GS: Jiri Vesley, 2013 RG

Yannick Mertens - BEL v. Nedovyesov
Mertens played two GSQR3 matches in 2012, losing both 6-1, 6-3. At least he'll get a third set for sure here.
Last Belgian players to debut at a GS: Gigounon & Coppejans, 2015 RG

Enzo Couacaud - BEL v. Millman
This is Coucaud's first GSQR3.
Last French players to debut at a GS: Halys & Hamou, 2015 RG
