i am sure that he must be upset for losing early, but who knows, this is david, a player that is unpredictable, and unfortunately i think that he will always be like that.
Yeah... right now he looks like a bad copy of Safin.

I agree. He needs someone with strong leadership qualities, who will push him when needed-and even give him a good tongue-lashing, as it were.

David needs to practise and focus...and to put that messy head in the right place.

I don't know how the rest of the year will be for him...but i'm woried.

The last time he asked for a WC was in Munich, and it was a great decision, though I highly doubt he'll do the same now...

Re: Cincy, What to expect from it?

I'm wondering why Nalbo hasn't asked for a wildcard to play New Haven considering he is low on match practice and lacking confidence at the moment.
Both Henman and Safin have been offered wildcards and will probably accept them.
But deep down we all know that Nalbo won't even ask for one because he prefers to practice hard the week before a slam.

Re: Cincy, What to expect from it?

Absolutly.
I really hope Mancini goes to the US Open and puts some pressure on David, like telling him that he'll go to the DC if he makes a good US Open, or something like that. I'm sure that way David will have a completely different attitude.

I take back what I said last week, Nalbo DOES need a full-time coach. He needs a strong figure to coach and lead him. When he has the motivation and hunger he can do anything like the DC heroics in Sydney last month.
Going on T.V Shows just before the last slam of the year is not what most players would do. He can always go on the Maradona show in December during the offseason.

Re: Cincy, What to expect from it?

Nalbo says Maradona is one of his heros, so I doubt that Nalbo would refuse the offer if Maradona invited him.
I agree with you Jazz, Nalbo should head to New York right away and prepare PROPERLY.

Re: Cincy, What to expect from it?

I just heard on tv that Guillermo Coria was gonna come back to Argentina and was gonna be in Maradona tv show if he makes it. I am praying for him not to come, and stay in the US, and also for David to stay there as well. But I have a feeling both of them are gonna be here in tv show...I hope I'm terribly wrong though

I think that's a cop-out. Sorry....gotta tell it like it is.
