claudine140 Ferrero begins tomorrow at 11 o'clock against O Rochus and than Moyke against Malisse.
In 1999 Moyke won in two sets 6/4 6/3 in indian wells from mallisse;

Don't worry, he won't. Most likely Alex and Albert.

Off course costa is the only holder of a slam title on clay, there is only one slam on clay a year, moya had it in 1998 remember!!!!

Chloe le Bopper Costa is no streakier than Tommy, and Costa is holding the only slam title on the given surface.

No offense to Tommy, but kicking Costa off for Tommy would be disrespect at the highest level.

Tommy will play someday... when the older guys start to decline, or when he starts to get better, or when some of the guys pull out like against the USA last year.

King Aaron But Costa is streaky! Just bums me out that Tommy can't get to play.
02-04-2003 03:35 PM
Chloe le Bopper I hadn't actually thought about it, but every guy on this team has either won Roland Garros or been to the finals.
02-04-2003 03:34 PM
Chloe le Bopper In order to play Robredo, who are they going to give the bump?

One of their top 5 players? Or how about the reigning Roland Garros champion? Or how about their most reliable Davis Cup cup player in the past many years, who is a 2 time finalist on the grand slam surface that they are going to be playing on?

That's why Robredo hardly ever gets to play.

King Aaron Why not Tommy Robredo? Yes he's form hasn't been great this year but he can play doubles right?
02-04-2003 03:55 AM
Chloe le Bopper Well Spain is at home this tie, and if they get the USA they are at home - I'm not sure if they would be at home against Croatia though. That one could be somewhat interesting.

They are seeded for Argentina in the semis. I'm not sure who would be home or away - if they both got there - but it's safe to say that neither team will want it on grass or carpet
