Not a whole year (12 months), but the rest of this year (5-6 months) according to what Mary Carillo said. It came up when she & Johnny Mac were discussing racket technology while they were waiting for the 2nd semifinal to start.

It's too bad he played RG, b/c otherwise his injury break would've started earlier. I hope if he has to stay out a long time that it's long enough that he does so carefully so he can get a protected ranking.... even though it might not help that much

oh, it's not a misprint. it comes from someone who gets their lists directly from the ATP. He's basically never wrong.

i'm hoping it's a misprint i dunno his ranking is seriously starting to worry me though! he's gonna have to start qualifying for everything soon and as he can't seem to string 2 wins together that could be difficult
