Sydney 1R: Querrey - Bedene 6-7(5), 7-6(10), 2-1 ret. (saved 5MPs!)

Yeah, it doesn't happen often, also the other way - players rarely lose MP-up matches in B2B tournaments (lately it happened to Robredo).

Federer is the freshest case - beat Monfils at US Open (2 MPs) & Leo Mayer in Shanghai (5 MPs) - those two tournaments were separated by the Davis Cup tie.

Roddick did it in 2003, Cincinnati (v/Fish) and US Open (v/Nalbandian).

Muster did it three in a row in 1995, in Estoril (v/J. Sanchez), Barcelona (v/Burilo) and Monte Carlo (v/Becker) in the insane season where he won six titles (!!) after saving MPs.

I don't know of any others, Voo can probably add to them.

Voo, how often it happens(if happened before Fed did it) that someone saves MPs in b2b tournaments ?
