Re: Fed stats - with most weeks in top-2, 3, 5 and 10

Thanks for all your work!
Next goal is the top10 weeks, he could do it. I'm a bit afraid about the top2 total weeks because Rafa is just about a year under and he could play for other 4-5 years at least.
It's possible (hope I'm wrong) that Fed won't surpass Agassi in the top100 weeks, because he's not that kind of player that keeps playing if he's ranked 80th or 90th just for the records and money: I think once he sees he can't compete in the great tournaments anymore, he will retire. My biggest hope is that he play until Tokyo 2020, but I know it's hard.

Verdasco had been in the top 100 for more than 700 consecutive weeks now, so he can be added to the list.

Guillermo Vilas interrupted Connors' 160 week stretch with a few weeks as #1. The ATP missed it when it happened, but it still happened.

Unless Fed retire next year, top 10 should be his.

And yes, I'm flabbergasted that Fed is breaking the weeks records. Would have never thought about it in my wildest imaginations just a few years ago.

Well spotted, I was one week off. He only passed on Monday with this 865th to Connors 864.

I know. My stats are not perfect but better than wikipedia's. I haven't wanted to edit the wiki page as someone fixated on ATP stats will just edit back the same mistakes.

Fed takes the record for most consecutive weeks in the top-25.

Next week he will tie the record for most weeks in the top-4.

The week after he will tie the record for most weeks in the top-5.
