A number of players regard PTS as something of a lottery and would not like to see it extended.

Do we really want a rule change to cover such an exceptional turn of events, when CB will break most ties quite fairly?

#400 ·
True. I agree that CB is usually better than PTS.
Tbh I will win with CB in portoroz, but I find it unfair not to add other matches. Typically we have 8 matches R1 singles that we can add for TT R2 Singles. Let's do it.
TT has to be more flexible.

This is a very strange case but in my opinion I think that you souldn't add more matches to the original OOP, I know that a lot of matches will be decided by CB or PTS of previous rounds.

By the way I also think like Goldenoldie, I prefer CB than PTS and I think that it will be better if CB is first than PTS in the tie-break rules but left this for the end of the season ;)

I have the following result in 1st Round of Beijing CH:
randy72391 lolada_4
JUN 64 36 62 JUN 7-6 4-6 6-3
HUNG 64 75 HUNG 7-5 7-6
TAKEUCHI 64 75 TAKEUCHI 7-5 6-3
CREPALDI 64 63 CREPALDI 7-6 6-4
RUNGKAT 64 75 RUNGKAT 6-3 6-1
LU 62 63 LU 6-2 6-1

Score:
JUN 64 62
HUNG 75 75
HENSEL 62 46 64
CREPALDI 61 60
RUNGKAT 76 06 63

Last match is not finished. Am I wrong or should randy72391 should be the winner?

Hi board,

I'm playing doubles at Beijing this week, but did to rain, my R1 match isn't even complete yet.

I also need to be "in" Poznan for Saturday to play Quallies.

What's the policy here.

In Beijing we have bit of a situation that 2nd Round matches will also be played tomorrow Thursday due to a 2 days rain delay.
All matches start at 10AM including 1st Round (¡Yes, First Round matches!) . Second turn is another First Round Matches and Third Turn will begin 2nd Round Matches.

The thing is since I have posted only 1 hour before (When I saw OOP in the morning there were not any 2nd round matches scheduled, they modified it afterwards).
Can TT players send their picks until first match of Second Round atart? A priori I have set up 12 noon as deadline for 2nd round picks considering some players do a rush match in a row and finish their matches in just one hour.

00:00 | xieergai (CHN) vs. randy72391 (XXX) - Same winners; SR Differences: RUNGKAT 2-1 v 2-0, MORIYA 2-0 v 2-1
00:00 | Limitless (ROU) vs. (2) cserkinho (AUT) - Missing picks from Limitless Missing picks from cserkinho

what happens here?

does the winner of me and xieergai move onto the finals automatically or do we both play again next round

I noticed that it looks like the Cordenons CH will not be a 120 pointer this year, if so why is this?

Will there be points if one wins 1 qualy round in Montreal and Cincinnati, because I noticed that you get points for winning a qualy round in say Rome, but it doesn't look like it will be the same for Montreal and Cincy, if so why is this?

#419 ·
The points are :-

Revised Ranking Points Breakdown

- 0 points for R1 losses (except in GS, which are mandatory)

- GS = 1000, 700, 450, 250, 150, 75, 35, 5 (Qualifying: 20, 13, 6)
- Masters = 500, 350, 225, 125, 75, 35, 0 (Qualifying: 20, 13)
- 500 = 300, 210, 135, 75, 25, 0 (Qualifying: 15, 7)
- 250 = 200, 140, 90, 50, 20, 0 (Qualifying: 10, 5)
- Masters (7 rounds) = 500, 350, 225, 125, 75, 40, 15, 0 (Qualifying: 20, 13)
- 500 (6 rounds) = 300, 210, 135, 75, 40, 15, 0 (Qualifying: 15, 7)
- 250 (6 rounds) = 200, 140, 90, 50, 25, 10, 0 (Qualifying: 10, 5)
- Challenger category 1 - ATP's $100,000 or higher = 120, 84, 54, 28, 12, 0 (+5 for qualifier)
- Challenger category 2 - ATP's $75,000+H or lower = 90, 63, 40, 21, 9, 0 (+3 for qualifier)
- WTF = 100 (round robin win), 200 (SF win), 250 (F win)
- ChTF = 25 (round robin win), 35 (SF win), 50 (F win)
- WTC =

Singles
1st R: +25
2nd R: +25
3rd R: +25
*Finals: +75
**Bonus Points: +50

However, should any of the threads points be incorrect, a simple PM to the manager to alert them of this would suffice and they can correct it.

Sorry  Strange because Peter knows the rules. But I also looked that cava posted the OOP, maybe he didn't want to change the OOP once it has been posted.

#429 ·
I also expected a Saturday final with this ATP schedule. The manager couldn't know that there are only two matches today. He could only see it when OOP was released and with only two matches on Friday he couldn't do a one day SF. The change was as early as possible.
I don't know any other seven day ATP250 with a two day SF.
