That's really, really bad record

Roland Garros (one final, lost to Nadal)
Wimbldon (1:1, beat Nadal and lost to Murray)
US Open 1:3, lost to Federer, Nadal and Murray, beat Nadal)

So what?

His only Slam victories outside AO, so far, where when he beat Nadal in the finals in 2011, when Rafa was utterly hopeless against Djokovic 2.0 (7 losses in a row).

We'll have to wait and see whether it's just a meaningless coincidence, or a real sign of problems to win Slam titles outside AO, when he has to face tough opposition in the final.

RG was hardly surprising,at US he was never the favourite, save against Murray and that one had wind, with which he struggles regularly.
The only surprising, uncharacteristic performance was Wimbledon this year.

I don't see this stat as something particularly meaningful about his final showings.

Huh really. Good for him, seems like a decent player.

 Djoker desperately needs to play Dull to win a major final outside AO.

Djoko also has 2 losses 3:0, Federer 1 loss 3:0, Nadal not a single loss 3:0.

The only person Murray could beat for his first grand slam was Nole. That has to say something. Even the old, grandpa Fed handed him his ass at Wimbledon. But Nole .... I am done with that jack***.

11 slam finals at the age of 26 seems really good to me rather.

Post-Slam threads are the best.

Seriously, does everyone lose their minds when making these?

Not really, people just have more to talk about and it reveals the sad level of intelligence on MTF.

I'd rather lose a final than in the 4th round. For example Murray being 2-5 in finals is better than if he was just 2-0.

I'm quite sure he'll end his career with more wins than final losses at the US Open.

First loss there was his first GS final, against Federer who was still in his good times (this was even before 'mono').
Second one was his first GS final after 2 slump years, against Nadal who was having one of his two best years ever, hitting everything in from both wings, and serving like he's never done before (or after).
Third one to Windray, but mostly because he underestimated him and played half-arsed for 2 sets, gifting them.

Only one of those 3 opponents is still a factor, and Nole has 5x more hardcourt slams than him...

Federer is 1-5 in RG finals! Did you know that? Lets keep this turd of a thread rolling

Actually I just realised he's 1-6...insane!
Must be the worst clay player in the world...ever! But outside RG he's pretty good.
Djokovic is also 0-1 in finals in Croatia ( I always thought he had a poor showing there ).

Roger is 1-4 in finals won-lost in RG. What crap are you talking about 1-6?!

And you want to compare Djokovic with Federer?! Roger has 17 wins out of 24 finals. Djokovic has 6 titles out of 11 finals.

Roger has a 70,8 winning percentage in slam finals.
Djokovic has a 54,54 winning percentage in slam finals.
