Re: Ymer Brothers

The boys are playing in Stockholm this week.
They are defending their title in doubles against Lopez/Lopez.
Elias is playing Leo Mayer in singles while Mika is playing Misha Zverev.

Re: Ymer Brothers

Elias beat Dancevic 3/6 7/6 6/4 saving matchpoint on the way to the win.
Good win against an experienced opponent.
Hope he'll recover in time for his quarter final against Smyczek.
He leads the H2H 1/0. He won in straight sets earlier this year in Dallas.

I guess he wants to have a few HC matches before Stockholm.
Actually, he lost against a very in-form opponent, 7/5 in the third so I hope he gets a better draw next week and wins a couple of matches.
If he doesn't have to defend he can gain points back on clay now he's out of top 200.

Stockholm is also on hard, well indoor hard, not much of a difference for him.

The thing is most players he draws on hard he will be the underdog though, so he's unlikely to get a nice draw.

Re: Ymer Brothers

With his ranking going down already I wonder why he has moved away from clay?

Not surprising at all, his HC game isn't that good.

I don't like this move of him playing on HC, needs to stay on clay, could drop out of the top 200 soon.

Re: Ymer Brothers

Elias is in a tight battle with Cameron Norrie. They split the first two set and are now battling each other in the 3rd.

I found the CH that Elias is playing in Tiburon, USA. And it is great that Mikael got a W/C into Chengdu

Re: Ymer Brothers

Elias is playing a challenger in the US this week. First match on hardcourts after long time!
He's playing Cameron Norrie in his first round match.

Mikael got a wild-card in Chengdu MD and is playing Lu.
