He won his semi final 6/2 6/1 but his opponent in the final will the toughest of the week: Roberto Carballes.
This guy won a challenger already a couple of weeks ago and he trashed all his opponents this week (including Mikael Ymer). Head to head is 2 all between Elias and Roberto Carballes.

Just get there, scroll down and choose the tournament + the court.

Elias won 7/6 6/3, saving 2 or 3 set points down 4/5 on his opponent's serve.
Not his best level but it was good to see him winning after such a great performance yesterday and being the favorite to win his match today.

Seems like his next opponent is Lorenzo Giustino. He has not won many matches over the past 3 months so well, I think Elias has a chance It's kind of 50/50 I guess, it will depend on how they feel on the given day.
I'm happy Elias won And duh I forgot we are talking about Challengers here not the ATP Sorry about that

That's just yet another site you have to log into and remember a pass word for and then it will be yet another site that has my personal information on it. So no I definitely don't want to go there! Elias plays Pedro Martinez today so I'll just get the score from a scoring site that you don't have to belong to!

I hope so it is always good when a player and coach work well together for good results The sad thing for me is I can't watch the brothers

Re: Ymer Brothers

Elias played a superb match. I haven't seen him play like that for quite a while.
He was eager to win, to impose his game, to dominate the rallies, to be agressive.
He missed a few opportunities to break at 4/3 because of few forehand mistakes + Pavlasek coming to the net.
Then he saved a breakpoint at 4 all and served well to make it 5/4. He finished the set with 2 lucky returns.
In the second set, Pavlasek didn't really fight.

Elias was the boss on court today and I am very happy
Soderling effect maybe?

Re: Ymer Brothers

Yes! Easy win for Elias
Next round against Adam Pavlasek.
Pavlasek is leading 2/1 in the H2H.
Tough match. Pavlasek is not having his best season but he has won more matches than Elias lately.

Re: Ymer Brothers

I was talking about Elias.
Indeed, Mikael lost 6/4 6/1. I watched the match. I don't really know what to think. Mikael is a gifted player but he needs to learn how to win points and games.
