BTW curiously I met Charlie Parker not thru the music but thru literature, when I was a teenager I read a novel by Julio Cortázar called "el perseguidor" (dunno its title in english). After I finished the novel I thought it was marvelous, not only the book but also the life of Charlie Parker described by Cortázar... so as soon as I could, I got a Charlie Parker disc. His music was a great discover for me!
