I don't like the "Come on" from Tsonga. "Allez" is far better

Yet, I'm amazed that Jamie has more sanity than Roddick. Sometimes, personality is better than a cheap US Open trophy.

What was that all about? What was Blake's point? After that incident he kept on talking about it for the entire match.

Re: Indian Wells R2: Tsonga blasts Blake 7-6 6-4

I thought the first set of this match was outstanding tennis. Blake rolled back the years for a while with some electric forehands, and Jo was super-clutch whenever he was under pressure, especially on the set points, one of them he hit a Safin-esque backhand cross court to get to 6-6.

James is 33 now though and once he went 2-3* down in the second set you knew the game was up. Still for a set it was great to see the old JB hitting the ball like that even if the backhand wasn't as consistent.

Jo needs to keep rolling on. QF with Nole would be nice and hopefully he can bring his best stuff there.

All it takes is one great 250 tournament and Blake could see his ranking rise. He is still a good athlete for 33 and the talent is obviously still there, which never goes away.

It looks that at 33 years and 3 months old James still has good tennis inside of him, great performance Too bad he choked the first set away but whatever, I'm glad he still can produce this kind of tennis

Nice clutch from Willy in 1st set. Hope he can get far.

Good to see Blake give a top player some trouble. He still has game.

Blake has shown us time and time again he's not done. All the shots are still there, it's just his movement has declined so much as expected.

But I don't think it's time to retire just yet, he still puts in great matches and is currently top 100. Realistically if he can just play a few more good matches he can definitely get back in the top 60 perhaps.

Great match! Offensive and beautiful tennis.
Still, a lot of UEs from both, Tsonga needs to fix that if he wants to defeat the big names again.
He can play really good, come on Jo...
