I don't really know much about Peter Lundgren? The name seems familiar, but that is all.

Re: Ymer Brothers

He's got his head straight again for sure. Söderling helping him out is a great thing, looks like they've practiced a more aggressive approach in the return games. His return games used to be pretty decent when he came up at the challenger level, but then something happened as he tried to improve his service games and he's been too passive for a long time. Still lots to go but maybe the worst slump is over and he can get close to the top100 again.

Mikael has to hope Peter Lundgren will do something similar to him. They will work a lot on his serve I've heard, he will be going to the U.S. for practice. Right now it seems like he can't play multiple weeks in a row, he needs to built a lot of muscle aswell. Elias has built himself up nicely so I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

Re: Ymer Brothers

Elias won his first round 6/3 6/4.
His next opponent is Ricardo Ojeda Lara who recently won a challenger in Germany beating some good players but who is rather used to win on Futures circuit. A tough match but if Elias continues to play the same he played since last week, he can hope to win.
They have never played before.

He defeated Kamil Majchrzak in straight sets And thanks for the great picture I thought Robin would be good as a coach and I guess I was right!

Re: Ymer Brothers

I think he's back on track with Soderling on his side.
The level of his game has rised up so much! His attitude is great, he's agressive but not ballbashing, he's mixing up the game a little bit more, he's fighting. I love this Eli even more <3

He got a Special Entry in Manerbio challenger and plays his first round against Kamil Majchrzak. It will be first meeting between these two but I trust it is a match Eli can win easily if he keeps up playing the way he played last week.

He's back at ATP211 so he should get in all small challengers now. No need to stress on alternate list and so on

Re: Ymer Brothers

Title no.3 for Elias !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So happy after the struggles of the past year or so
He won 6/2 6/3
Lot of authority, he really imposed his game, dictated the rallies.
Very few unforced errors.

He should be back around ATP200 and in 20 for the race to Milan.

Re: Ymer Brothers

He won his semi final 6/2 6/1 but his opponent in the final will the toughest of the week: Roberto Carballes.
This guy won a challenger already a couple of weeks ago and he trashed all his opponents this week (including Mikael Ymer). Head to head is 2 all between Elias and Roberto Carballes.

Just get there, scroll down and choose the tournament + the court.

Elias won 7/6 6/3, saving 2 or 3 set points down 4/5 on his opponent's serve.
Not his best level but it was good to see him winning after such a great performance yesterday and being the favorite to win his match today.

Seems like his next opponent is Lorenzo Giustino. He has not won many matches over the past 3 months so well, I think Elias has a chance It's kind of 50/50 I guess, it will depend on how they feel on the given day.
I'm happy Elias won And duh I forgot we are talking about Challengers here not the ATP Sorry about that
