Why are the oods for F. Lopez against B. Becker so high?

I saw 1.7 for Becker and 1.9 or even 2.0 for Lopez.

Is Lopez injured or something?

I know he hasnt played since AO, but still a bit strange.

Becker v Lopez

Lopez has had a really bad year so far, he may have come up agains't tough opponents such as Stepanek and Querrey but overall he has been poor. He has only won twice in his last eight, which shows a dissapointing display from the Spanish national. Becker has been better, beating Harrison last week and also reaching the quarter finals against Struff in January at the Heilbronn Challenger.

Both players met back in 2010 where Lopez won in straight sets, a rather straight forward affair for the Spanish national. Lopez naturally has been on worse form, not only as the favourite but also as the underdog too, losing his last three as the underdog and only winning three but losing four as the favourite in his last 10 matches.

Lopez is yet to play on indoor hard surface this year, his last meeting on this surface was back in October last year, a very long time ago. Becker has played most of his matchups this year on indoor hard, with his latest meeting being against Istomin last week. Becker comes in this tournament with good form here in the past, reaching the semi finals last year before being knocked out by Raonic, and also playing here in 2010 and 2011 too. Lopez last played here in 2007 where he got defeated by Del Potro in the first round.

For me today it's an obvious choice, i have to go with Becker, he's been on much better form and played well here in Memphis in the past. Lopez has been dog rough this year, not only performing poor as the favourite but as the underdog too, losing six matches out of eight is just not good enough at this level of tennis.

Mayer v Blake

Blake comes into this match with good form behind him, reaching the semi finals at Dallas and making the quarters last year at Tiburon. Mayer has had sketchy form, with only winning three in his last eight, including losses against some players he should have maybe beat including Monaco and Berankis.

Head to head is in Blakes favour winning 3-1 however, Mayer has won the latest meeting between the two back in fall last year, in the second round of Metz which was a three set match. Three out of four of the matchups have been three sets, so a much closer encounter than what most think. The earliest two head to heads were both in Blakes favour, beating Mayer in 2005 and 2007.

Mayer comes into this match as the underdog, and he has played poorly as well as the underdog, losing his last four matches when priced as the least likely to win. Blake has played here in Memphis numerous times in his career, the furthest he reached was the second round back in 2011, during all his other matches he has got knocked out in the first round. Mayer is yet to play here at Memphis and this will be his first match in the states since last year.

For me today i have to go with Blake to win this match, he has more experience and played a lot better on indoor hard so far this year, where as Mayer has won a dissmal one match in his last six on this surface. Mayer also prooves to be poor as the underdog in his last ten. You have to also remember that Blake is on his home soil here in Memphis, so should have the crowd behind him
