Congratulations to Marius, and I think Marco proved this week that he's still got it!

Solid match by Marius, who won 7-6 6-4. The tiebreak in the first set was insane, Gicquel came back from 6-2, but Copil managed eventually to win the tiebreak, 11-9. If Marius keeps playing like this, he should enter top 100 soon because until RG, he has only 26 points to defend.

They have never faced each other.

Re: Week 7 : Quimper (Entry list)

Gicquel was 2-5 down in the third With a combination of choking from Darcis and better play from himself he won it 7-5

Great result for the 35 year old!

Re: Week 7 : Quimper (Entry list)

Copil def. Ignatik 7-6(5) 7-5

Marius played really good, close to his top level, while Ignatik had his moments but was inconsistent. He also missed a set point in the 2nd at 5-3 40-30 with a double fault, and after that he fell apart and lost 4 games in a row.

Re: Week 7 : Quimper (Entry list)

Two good convincing wins for Ignatik. Guy has so much potential, hopefully he can keep the momentum going here...
