So I was sorting this album I have in FB with a collection of photos from places I have been in Europe. It made me realize I have traveled quite a lot around Europe, but it's never enough. I want to go back to every single country, there is still so much to discover. :( But so little time.

Those cupcakes. :hearts: Tennis history not my strength, nice to read :yeah:

Great article.

Sent from my laptop.
:rolls:  do you have some sort of bet with noleta?

You have done your share of travelling too. What do you mean you've lost so much time? You used your time the best way you knew and could! Same thing for me :) I could only have done better if I didn't have limited funds , but I do, and one must adapt to the circumstances. :p :D

Meh, I´ve only really started to travel around during the last couple of years. Before that, I was so lethargic. My own parents always traveled to their parents during the summers and I of course tagged along. And that hasn´t really stopped since I´ve started travelling on my own, I still spend every summer in Serbia and Croatia. And of coure one could ask why not go somewhere else. Thing is, I have friends and family there, spread around a lot of places, and if I do not see them in the summer I do not see them for the whole next year. It´s a dilemma. And as far as my share of travelling is concerned, I haven´t even visited London. London, which I can reach by plane in 45 minutes :embarrassed:

Yeah, it did (though I was only born the year after the wall fell, so I can´t give you the impression I had as the wall was tumbling down :p) The metaphor I always use is that of a champagne bottle you keep shaking. You keep shaking the bottle, but one day the cork will come off. And when the cork comes off, there is no way to get the champagne back in the bottle.

They had revolutions before the internet? I´d have sworn the French Revolution started by someone posting ´Let´s tear down the Bastille!´ on Facebook ;)

Because we are so entertaining?

Ok. I've got to say that the time zones in South America are :stupid:

Chile is in the same longitude as the eastern united states, but they are on the same time as -- Nova Scotia. Well this keeps them on the same time as part of Brazil, but why are they even on that time zone? Peru directly to the north is on EST.

I can understand why western Brazil an Bolivia are on the same time as Nova Scotia etc. But why isn't Argentina on that time zone instead of GREENLAND's time zone? Well, no wonder it is light in Chile now at 7 and 8 pm.

All these great travel stories and tips are very interesting and certainly inspire me even more to go travelling now :). On a note re/ weight loss which I mentioned tonight, I just ate my evening meal and felt full at the end which I usually don't feel. I guess it's kind of a mental thing as I went in with the mindset that this would be the last thing I eat tonight as I don't want to snack on bread later. Fingers crossed it works.

I post on MTF a little more than I do here and haven't had any issues.

One time I was banned from a Formula 1 message board before I had even posted a message on it. The reason given was supposedly because my username (Spoonface) was said to be offensive to Michael Schumacher!?
Look What I found on TF. :rolls: got banned before posting because of the username. :tape: and people complain about mods here..

I'm still in the 1-5 inches part of this big blizzard but the meteorologists are making everyone panic and there's probably going to be a run on gas again so I think I need to get gas this morning *sigh* There is absolutely no reason why I should not be able to get gas tomorrow but absolutely everyone is freaking out because of Sandy.

It's really much worse for Connecticut/Boston area for me it is STILL anywhere from 1-10 inches. There is a huge difference in preparation for 1-5 inches (aka no preparation) and 10 inches. It's going to rain til about 6 pm now, of course it was snowing and frigid while we were outside at the cemetery. All the snow if there is snow will happen over night.

Basically no one, not even the "experts" have the slightest clue what is going to happen or not happen over the next 24 hours.
