That said, it's better to take this kind of lists and rankings with a pinch of salt, IMO.

Re: novak djokovic endorsements potential

In 2011, after his epic first 6 months of the season, his marketing potential in the US (Nielsen's N-Score) was at the level of Mary Joe Fernandez:

Nadal and Federer also mentioned in the articles.

Maybe good USO11 and 12 helped Djokovic a bit

Come on man. By the time Federer retires Nole will probably be declining so your assertion that Federer will be forgotten while Nole rises to the top is a bit absurd. It's not like they their peaks were 10 years apart.

I can imagine 13, 14-year olds looking up to Novak . They don't want to wear pink shoes and look pretty, they want to crush their opponents and roar like lions!

Novak couldn't leave the airport for over 15 minutes, signing and having his picture taken with the kids.

The Davis Cup tweeted that Nole was cheered by the crowd at Charleroi as much as the Belgian team itself.

Among people over 35, yes, Roger is still the favourite.

But times are changing.

As for that photo, it's very cute -- though Nadal had a similar reception when he played DC in Belgium -- the crowd seemed happy to support Spain half the time. So it's hardly proof positive that Novak has some unique connection with kids that the others don't.
