Re: Roberto Carballes-Baena

He's been really consistent, but not ruthless enough in the latter stages of futures events this summer. Good luck.

Re: Roberto Carballes-Baena

Roberto won the futures event in Croatia, defeating Sieber in the final 6-4 4-6 7-5! His fifth career futures title and he'll be approaching the top 400 again now. Hopefully he can continue this form and continue to push up the ranks!

Roberto Carballes-Baena

This 19 year old is considered by many to be the best Spanish youngster coming up through the ranks. He has already won 4 future titles and has a 42-19 career record in future events as of today. He has been as high as #390 in the ranking and is currently ranked #444 in the world. Unlike other Spanish youngsters ranked around him, he has been consistently successful at the futures level, which is a great sign going forward for him. This season he won an event in Badalona in early March.

This week he is playing a futures event in Croatia and is in the QF vs Krawietz. GL to Roberto in Croatia and throughout the 2012 season!
