Re: Milos Raonic

I would rather Raonic skip IPTL and focus on the training if he is 100% and work on a few things. He will have a lot to gain after April if he defends his points in the early going. He can reach the top 4 at the end of the 2016 season if he is 100% by January with better draw.

Re: Milos Raonic

I don't think he played a match where he was healthy in 2015 since Isner in Miami. From April on, it was all a major physical struggle.

He's scheduled to play in the IPTL in December now, but I would hope he'll skip that if he's not 100%. Really don't need any of these issues to linger on in 2016 when he'll be looking to rebuild his ranking.

Re: Milos Raonic

So Raonic is out of Paris as well ending his season. He'll drop out of the top 10 next week. Hopefully he can be fully rested and healed up for next year. It was a promising start to the year, but the foot issues during the clay brought he season to a screeching halt. Too many attempts to come back. He missed the FO and likely should have skipped the grass season entirely. I understand wanting to defend the SF points at Wimbledon, but I think that was a big factor that lead to his back issues later in the season.

Re: Milos Raonic

Raonic won comfortably 6-4 6-4. He was deep into many of Donskoy's service games and was really only in trouble in one game in the second set. He won 27 returning point had 8 break opportunities, but only converted 2. The score could have been much worse for Donskoy.

#2 seed in St. Petersburg (Berdych #1). Bye in the first round and Donskoy or Q in round 2.

He needs to take a decent amount of time off. We have seen too many big guys just fall apart because of compounding injuries and playing through pain.

Massive mistake. I was shocked sitting a few rows from the court at how unfit he is. He moves terribly on a good day and it was even noticeable how much worse off he was. taking off a few months should be a minimum consideration based on an eye check.

Up two sets now, let's pray for that back to hold up

Re: Milos Raonic

2 breaks already and *5-2 .... and should have been 3 and first set over ... had *0-40 on 2nd return game.

Anyways, just bullying Fernando from the baseline ... if his back holds up this shouldn't be difficult. But frankly, I'm not that optimistic .. back issues are tough & getting through long 5-setters will be a challenge.
