Re: Career Grand Slam Semifinals

Well, seeing as I jumped the gun on 41, this one doesn't need an update.

Re: Career Grand Slam Semifinals

Novak reached his 12th straight semifinal, and is now tied with Edberg and McEnroe.
He now also has 16 consecutive quarters.

Also he has 33 SFs, not 32. Could be 34 tomorrow.

I wondered the same thing, but decided to leave (Rose)well enough alone. After all, it is more precise to say he played very well than to say he played like a wall.
Probably because English orthography has far more well than wall in names.

Oh, and JediFed... Could you, please, change No2e to No1e?
I only changed it to No2e after irritation with the poster who asked, "where's No2e", when he was already on the list.

It will stay there until after the AO.

By the way as I know you're an expert in young players, Springer, would you know if there's a connection between the Georgian youngster Aleksandre Metreveli and the old glory Alex Metreveli ? grand-son or something ?
No idea

Didn't checked all my numbers, though, just Tanner's and Bjorkman's stat and it seemed OK.

16 SFs and 17 QFs? I typo, I assume. I have him at 13 SFs and 17 QFS. He lost QFs in USO 1983-4 and W 1987-8
