Capdeville making the final without losing a set. Zeballos continuing his form from last week.

Kavcic had a medical timeout on his back in the 3rd set.

Re: Week 45 : São Leopoldo (Entry List)

Schwartzman def. Dutra Silva 6-2 7-6(2)

Diego was *5-4 40-15 up in the second set, then lost 9 consecutive points. However he was the much better player today.

Blaz into the SF defeating Elias easily today. That should assure him an AO MD spot. Very good.

Re: Week 45 : São Leopoldo (Entry List)

Haider-Maurer once more melts down after winning the 1st set. He used to win these matches easily during the year. Now losing to a mug like Brkic Time to take a break and work during off season.

Anyway Becuzzi is still in doubles He and Brkic got a walkover.

Re: Week 45 : São Leopoldo (Entry List)

Dutra Silva def. Satschko 6-7(6) 6-0 6-3

Dutra can lose a set against anybody at the moment Stadler, Aranguren, Satschko...
Satschko saved quite a few set points in the first set, both in the TB and when Dutra served for the set.
The German was up a break in the third but he was the much worse player today.

Re: Week 45 : São Leopoldo (Entry List)

Nice to see Sorgi getting the win against Podlipnik. Not a win against a great opponent but it's a win at this level regardless, called a couple of months ago his name in a thread about the young guns because of how surprised I was after seeing him play for the first time (Huge power, really nice aggressive play). I hope he can take Capdeville out now but the chilean's experience might weigh in highly.

Becuzzi

Here is a short article about him for those who can read some Italian: http://www.tennisworlditalia.com/Enr...colo11344.html. Entitled "Enrico Becuzzi, the 39-years-old who travels the world and always loses".

And an interview here http://www.grantennistoscana.it/escl...amondo#respond.
