Re: Paris Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated September 20, 2012)

If you get a WC you don't withdraw from ALT because if you enter directly the WC can be given to someone else. It means that Davydenko won't play imo.

Llodra former semifinalist here asked for one and said he was near to get it. Monfils is again injured but if he would play and if he would need one (a lot of if) he would get one.

Roger won´t play here and same for Nadal. Fish and Monfils are questionable too.

Re: Paris Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated October 22, 2012)

Nieminen pulled out as well. Little surprising for me, I know he wants to prepare for Helsinki, but there is plenty of time for it even with playing Paris.

Maybe he needs rest, though.

Re: Paris Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated October 25, 2012)

Special exemption to masters due to good result in 500? I think it at least has to be the same tournament rank or better.
A qualified event for special exempt to a ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament is the singles event of another ATP World Tour Masters 1000 or ATP World Tour 500 tournament.

Re: Paris Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated October 25, 2012)

So, Klizan squeezed in. He won´t play Cilic in R1, so hopefully he´ll be able to somehow pull out at least one last win to finish this succesful season... Andujar-Alba would be a dream pairing for him :)

Re: Paris Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated October 25, 2012)

Goffin lost, so if Grigor beats Mathieu he will get the SE spot in Paris. My only concern is how they will make the draw at 6:30 PM local time today and Grigor's match will start around 6-6:30. How would they know if he gets or doesn't that SE spot? So he can get screwed just because they decided to make the draw of Friday?

Paire is the other WC. Ramos got in because Haas withdrew.

Re: Paris Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated October 26, 2012)

the special exempt was cleared and Berlocq is in.

Smucav as Amirbachar asked in the rankings thread why didn't Mathieu get the SE ? he could have had 10 points if losing in first round, as a WC he will get zero point.

Didn't he ask for it ?
Or did his previous wild-card situation prevent it ?

Wasn't he still playing his match at the time of the main draw? If so, he wouldn't want to decline the wild card to take a chance on earning the SE spot. I think he would only do that if the was the first alternate. If he lost his match, he wouldn't be in the draw at all (as a wild card, SE, or alternate).

@bnppmasters
Once Roger Federer withdrawal will be official (organization statement), Victor Hanescu will replace him in the main draw #bnppm
I don't think Victor takes his place literally
