Yeah I think he was suffering from a shoulder injury.
But I'm pretty sure he has returned and is playing the lower tie tournaments, working his way back up.

Well, Zhang lost in straights but apparently had many bps chances.
If he played well enough, I thought he'll have a shot at beating Mayer too, but Mayer brings more variety in his game.
Still a great run for Zhang, hope he can keep on rolling with this experience behind him.

I hope Ito can continue his run, and on paper he should win but Tursunov is better than his current ranking though.

And you're right on about Zhang, to be honest I had written him off.
But then again Gasquet is one of those players more prone to allowing an upset.

Can't deny ZZ's performance though, he's a good slugger. I wonder if this win is made more significant with the Chinese national holiday.

good win for ito but it doesnt move his ranking up at all

zhang i think is playing today against Gasquet which wont be easy but with the way the seeds are getting knocked of latley i dont think u can write him of completely

Yeah he made it to the 1st round of a US challenger, up against James Blake.
I think it's a good experience for him and we'll see how he fares on this level.

That's great for Moriya, hope he can finish the season like this or better.

I love the Asian swing, but the lack of time difference to most Asian countries will mean I'd miss the matches cause of work. I hope they have night matches especially when Kei's playing.

Sorry James, I don't know much about Taro Daniel, I've only read about him here on MTF.
