Mayer is a very dangerous player, and plenty of his fellow professionals have acknowledged it. I'm sure even you will admit that they know better than you.

I thought this was a great match. Leo deserved a set for his effort, and clearly, 80% of you who have commented didn't watch the match in its entirety.

I hardly think that someone who hit about 10 more winners than unforced errors in a match played like "human faeces".
especially as Del Potro usually has few winners in his stats, even in his best matches. He rather makes his opponents make forced errors.

I don't understand the comments saying Del Po was awful , he looked very good to me, and clearly Mayer can play very well in a good day

Nice fight from Mayer

Delpo nowhere close to his best, but still winning comfortably.

Mugyer was pathetic. Disgusting to see him in R3 of a slam giving a virtual BYE to Mug-Mugtro. Can't believe the cakewalk draw the Argentine has had so far. 3 challenger level clowns followed by an all serve geezer about to retire

Mayer is never going to be a top player, but there's a big game in there waiting to be utilised. Mentally one of the worst on tour though, there was almost zero chance he would serve out the 2nd.

Doesn't feel like he's progressed at all in the last three years.

It's not easy to spot espcially when it comes to Del Potro and his expression/attitude on court.

Ferrer isn`t a choker.

No offence, mate, it simply seemed to be funny for me. I watched the match, I know how it was going on.

dunno, delpo looked OK to me. not the best of his performances, but rather solid.
he does not look fatigued or affected by some wrist discomfort. save for that towel ritual, nothing unusual...
