But seriously why on earth would anyone put an athlete on their body as a tattoo is beyond me :tape: Its like putting someones bf/gf on their body but realizing that either this person has cheated on them or broke up with them and then they're stuck with their exes name on it. I surely would never put Rafa's picture on my body as a tattoo, i dont care how much i love the guy. :help:

People are crazy  I have an argie friend who got Martin Palermo's signature tattoed in his arm, he got the Boca player to sign it with a Sharpie and then ran to a shop to get it done.

I also saw a guy doing the same for Cristiano Ronaldo.

I absolutely adore Athletic with all my heart but I wouldn't even get the crest tattoed on my body  much less the face or signature of any player.

^^ I saw a pic of a girl with the RF logo on her wrist -- but at least she said it was her hubby's initials as well, and he okayed it

Lucky RF management hasn't gone after her for copyright infringement of the logo

The same reason why people put anything else on their body.

I think tattoos are stupid, personally. But if you can put a symbol of a language you don't read or understand, you may as well put anything else on your body.

That physique is totally detrimental to a professional tennis career. Grand slam tennis is very much an endurance sport and carrying that much muscle mass really isn't helpful at all. Name one great player past or present with that type of body. Even Nadal and Djokovic - who were pretty cut to begin with - dropped weight in recent years to help their games. Also look at most of the hard hitters: Del Potro, Berdych, Cilic, Gulbis, Bellucci etc. and what their physiques are like. Size is not necessary for power unless used to compensate for poor technique.

But hey, if Nando wants to look like an amateur body builder more than he wants to be a top 10 player again, that's his choice. No complaints about his appearance.

Faildasco cares more about the tail and less about succeeding as a tennis player, I thought this much was obvious.

Promo pics for the Beijing Open. Not sure what they're going for with Novak - okay so Nadal's jacket is odd but Chinese-inspired, Novak's is nothing to do with that. Assume they're getting paid handsomely to turn up for the gig so can't really complain too much about being made to wear this stuff!

Stay away from this PR rubbish guys, it's not boding well for your tennis... uhm, well okay, there's always Wimbledon 2009 for a rememberance of the most fugly outfit ever for the fellow who ended up being the winner there. Perhaps Djoko and Rafa are trying to outdo that 'performance'? :p
