Re: Julien Benneteau

There's a French interview with Julien from the FFT today.

He played interclub doubles last week with Mahut, even though he's not yet 100%. He did his last training session with Courteau a few days ago and has started training with his brother Antoine. Julien will travel with Antoine next year, and he's aiming to comeback at the Noumea Challenger in January. He's very grateful to Loic Courteau for their 6 years together. The positive side of the injury is that he could spend the 1st few months at home with his new baby son, Ayrton. He'll use his protected ranking up to Roland Garros, and will play doubles with ERV at big events. He's very committed to doing well in the doubles, as ERV declined offers from other players to stay with Julien. In doubles, he's aiming to qualify for the Masters (World Tour Finals), and in singles he'll try to rebuild his ranking but knows it will take time.

Re: Julien Benneteau

In case some people don't know Julien plans to come back in January. Loic Courteau won't be his coach next year as he's the new davis cup coach.

Julien should play doubles with Roger Vasselin

Re: Julien Benneteau

He could come back in september in Metz if things go well. He will have a protected ranking I think.

Kezzi Julien
I really thought he could finally win his first title when I saw he had a break in the first set. I'm so sad for him.

^^^ Aww Julien. That is so sad. But at least Europe winning the Ryder Cup today made him happy.
