Singles gold is the goal for the top singles players.

I'm sure Federer knows he fell short, but he will always refer to his doubles gold as a great thing, it will always be "my gold medal" and won't be qualified by "doubles."

And I guess Bob Bryan is the goat then with 22 Grand Slams...

Murray's of course... If we count doubles as well, then John Mcenroe is tied with Federer at Grand Slam trophies...

I reckon Federer would trade his doubles gold and singles silver for a singles gold, so on that basis I have to go with Murray. Having said that, Federer and Wawrinka had some impressive wins in the doubles, it's just that I genuinely believe that for the top players the singles means so much more.

So the most impressive in OG is Murray, then Nadal, then Fed. But of course Massu is all above these guys, Olympic Games wise.

Is this one of those sociology experiments, where they pretend they are wanting to know views on a subject, but are actually looking to see how people react? In this case, trying to find out how many people will vote for Roger in a poll, regardless of actual evidence?

Fraud fans desperate for air

They stole it from Frauddick, suffocating It

Davis Cup warrior for Switzerland?

Oh.

Wait.

Maybe Fraud can claim to be American like his fellow pensioner, Haas?

I'm sure USTA would be delighted to have a slam champion, no matter how fake

Who gives a crap about the Olympics. People don't realize that these paid shills on TV are pushing this Olympics agenda so dumb mindf***s watch all the useless events just to catch some tennis and also watch all the commercials on TV, and I don't know, talk about beautiful girls doing gymnastics or stuff like that on Facebook. What is so special about the Olympics?

As he sat there, though, he turned the situation around in his mind: yes, he’d wanted the gold, but he had won silver, a rare medal for Switzerland (“we don’t make that many”) and instead of dwelling on the loss, he decided to be happy with what he had accomplished.

Being 'crushed' goes way beyond tears. He had to kid on that winning a silver was a great thing. He was a broken man. Winning gold is just huge. You only get one shot in your prime to win. Some can cope with the pressure, others struggle.

It's a fact mate, that if you could only dominate 1 slam, no player would pick the January Open. The Olympics at Wimbledon is also way way bigger than the pre-season slam with no history.

Murray also got very close to beating Azarenka and Max, but Robson cracked under the pressure at the very end. Federer was not very close to getting his singles gold.
