Re: Erik Chvojka

What's going on with Erik these days? It seems like he's shell of his former self and can't even get back to back wins on the futures tour. I think his career might be done. I think the year where he reache the final round of Wimbledon qualies and nearly cracked the top 200 was his peak and now it's all downhill from there.

Weird result indeed... Injury possibly?

Re: Erik Chvojka

Chvojka played this week, Sweden F1. Failed to win a single game against the World No. 1640. Yikes

Re: Erik Chvojka

Just a few days ago I was wondering if maybe he'd decided to give pro tennis up. Anyway, he played the top seed and eventual winner tough, judging from score - maybe he can push to get solidly back inside the top 300 again.

He's the five seed for Ukraine F3 this week.

Re: Erik Chvojka

lol, this is the 2nd time Erik lost to a retired player (Vinciguerra, Johannson) and yet he's the active touring player. Anyways, mug result. He falls to J.Johansson in first round qualies in Stockholm.

Re: Erik Chvojka

Chvojka's decline continues unabated. He did reach the quarters of a pro tourney, the $10,000 Sweden F6, but... In round one he was taken to two tiebreaks by an unranked opponent and round two he won when his World No. 903 opponent retired after three tight sets. He got beat one and three today by the world No. 1078

Re: Erik Chvojka

I actually think Erik peaked last season when he nearly cracked the top 200 and almost qualified for Wimbledon (which he should've). I think from this point on, I don't see him reaching that form again. Maybe top 300 form. I really wanted him to qualify for Wimbledon last year.

Re: Erik Chvojka

What's going on with Erik? His form of play has really gone south.
