Great result. Sadly Egypt lost on the doubles final set in 14. batates is one of the Egyptian team members under 14

They are not guaranteed a spot unless they are hosting the Junior Davis Cup Final. The competition is held in Barcelona, Spain this year.

2012 Junior Davis Cup Qualifying: African Junior Team Chmps | 13 - 17 June | Algeria

African Junior Team Championships start this week

Action in the junior team competitions continues this week in Algeria with the African Junior Team Championships. A total of 22 teams are taking part in Algiers, with five teams competing in the Junior Davis Cup by BNP Paribas and six teams in the Junior Fed Cup by BNP Paribas event. Two teams will qualify from each event for the Junior Davis Cup and Junior Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Finals to be held in Barcelona in September.

In the World Junior Tennis Competition only one spot is up for grabs in each event at the World Junior Tennis Finals. Five boys teams and six girls teams will be battling it out for a place in the Finals in Prostejov, Czech Republic in August.
