Episode 4: 50 minutes. (Shortest episode ever)
Episode 5: 59 minutes.
Episode 6: 71 minutes.
Episode 7: 81 minutes. (longest episode ever)
If this is true, it is quite disappointing. 59 is less than an hour, while 81 min is not "movie length". S6E10 was almost as long.

If 7 "long" episodes are long almost as 10 "short" episodes in previous seasons (some season 5 and 6 episodes were mere 50 min long), I would be OK with it.

I.e. 6 * 75 min + 100 min for the final = 550 min. That is about 10 * 55 min episodes. Not bad

Only main actors whose now enormous paychecks are per episode, would be screwed. Maybe that is why they are doing it?

Re: HBO game of thrones - anyone watching?

Some speculations about what is going to happen based on above two trailers and some theories.

These are all speculations. No real spoilers.
- Daenerys will go to her birth place Dragonstone. She will visit dragon caves and see dragonglass there.
- Jon and Davos will meet Daenerys and Tyrion and see the dragons on Drangonstone.
- Bran and Meera will go south of the wall (Bran is marked by Night's King remember ). I.e Bran will mess things up again.
- Bran will also become quite powerful i.e. will be able to warg hundreds of ravens at the same time.
- Jamie and Lannisters will win a battle and take a city in the south (probably the Highgarden).
- Ellaria Sand and Yara
- Grey Worm and Misandei
- Euron will attack Theon and Yara and probably beat them at sea battle. He will also capture Ellaria Sand and bring her with his huge fleet (and his cock ) to Kings Landing as a gift to Cersei. Remember Ellaria Sand poisoned Myrcella.
- Unsullied will attack and take Lannister's home castle - Casterly Rock, probably helped by hints from Tyrion - i.e. enter though a cave.
- Dothraki and Daeneris on Drogon will defeat Lannisters army on the open battle somewhere in the south. i.e. the field of fire 2.
- Jon and 11 other people - Hound, Thoros of Myr, Beric Dondarion with his flaming sword, Tormund, some wildlings... will go back North of the wall on some specific mission - to capture a white walker or to attack a Night's King. They will be surrounded by whytes and in big trouble. Not all of them will survive - see "The Last Hero of the first men" story in the books/lore. But at least Jon will be saved by either Children of the Forrest and/or Bran and his Ravens and/or Benjen Stark i.e. Coldhands.
- Arya is seen carrying Valyrian dagger that currently belongs to Littlefinger - draw your own conclusion.
- Sansa will be sad and confused.
- The lone wolf dies, but the pack survives...

That is actually at Winterfel I think - check the weirwood tree and the Meister or ser Davos not sure who.
At the beginning of the trailer you see him and Meera entering the gate at the wall.

I didn't read the leaked plot on reddit, not I intend to, but this meeting is happening in Dragonstone. Which probably means Cersei is still in power in Kings Landing. I.e. I think this would be happening while Cersei is still in power.
The fight with White Walkers will not happen before Season 8 IMO.

Looking forward to next season and discussing/debating with you folks. Particularly the folks who actually think they are in the show.
