Karol's 2012 season! Current stop: TBD.

There haven't been many updates recently on this thread so I think making one long-running thread where news, results, information and anything related to Karol can be posted here!

Karol finished #101 in 2011 after finishing 29-14 in challengers and 4-10 in ATP matches. He won the Segovia challenger in July, made the finals of Sarajevo and Eckental and made the SF of Cherbourg, Granby and Salzburg. In ATP competition, Karol's best result was qualifying and making the third round of Wimbledon for the second time.

Unfortunately 2012 hasn't started out too well for Karol, as he is currently out with a back injury. His best result so far this season is qualifying and making the second round of Rotterdam. He has not played since losing in the second round of Marseille. His current ranking is #109. Clay season is generally an unsuccessful one for Karol so what is most important is that he is ready for grass season come June. He may make the French Open direct entry but hopefully he will be healthy soon and back in action.
