They are playing some great tennis. Though they are yet to face their final test against the powerful pair of Nestor/Mirnyi.
I think Nestor/Mirnyi will be a tough test for Paes/Stepanek. But kudos to both of them, they have played some exceptional tennis in past couple of months. Beating Bryan brothers in straight sets twice is no mean feat.
Well this is a superb team...Paes-Stpeanek is really a class apart...I dont think with the form they in Nestor-Mirnyi can stop them...It will be tough I know but Paes- Stepanek will prevail which I am sure of.. Go Guysssssssssss
Geez, Czech & Indo Sexpress indeed. I remember watching a Berdy match that Paes was commentating and Radek was in the stands. It didn't sound like they even knew each other back then, who knew they'd be winning slams together seven years later.
Well done guys! Old truth is showing, that when a decent singles player with good volleying decides seriously commited to play doubles, it makes the difference against doubles specialists. Steps teaming up with doubles master Paes are having an edge against Bryans.
yeah Steps is no doubt one of the best doubles players at the moment but he should continue with singles. It's his nice footwork that sets him aside from other top doubles players. Most of the top guys can serve, volley and return but not many can move like Stepanek. You'd think he was 5 years younger than the Bryans rather than the same age
