Sounds like it might be prudent to shut it down for the rest of the season

I watched the whole match. What's more surprising is how close he got to winning considering he pulled up in pain every 4th point or so due to the recurring back issues.

Re: Vasek Pospisil

Vasek actually won a tiebreak. Up a set against Baghdatis right now, on serve in the 2nd.

But he loses the 2nd set tiebreak. Into a 3rd set we go...

Tuggy Verdasco in round 1. Should have an opportunity.

Is Vasek still without a coach? Maybe Roger can play just fine without a coach, but most players can't. And Vasek definitely can't.

Re: Vasek Pospisil

About as good a draw as he could have hoped for - time to execute for the number #3 Canadian

You're right. I hate that you're right, but you're right.

Tuggy Has a pretty good draw for the Cincy qualifying. But it's Vasek, so who knows.

Vasek has had a solid year, moved his ranking up solidly into top 100 and positioned himself well to start making a move into the top 50 again.

Peter on the other hand played a great match. After some early loose errors, he started putting everything back, and his first returns were fantastic, he took them early and put a ton of them into Vasek's feet, changing momentum on points from the first ball. Peter earned the win.
Look at some historical draws, especially at the US Open - its happened every time. Last night Vasek went up 5-2 and barely took one risk the rest of the match - just pushing the ball back with Peter waiting for an error. Its not his game, and the match turned dramatically as soon as he tightened up.

You seem to be new to the boards here, so you may not realize I'm usually the first to defend Vasek. But Murray aside, this has been a frequent occurrence in his career.
