Rankings are out for the 2012 dual season! Not many surprises, USC comes in at #1 over #2 Virginia. Ohio State and Georgia at 3-4.
Pac-12 and the SEC have 3 teams in the top 10.

the team rankings are very similiar to how they looked when last season ended. Tennessee down to 13. I think they will be even lower than that as the season goes on.

That's a legit ranking. He is not as dominant as he was when he was a Freshman. He lost some matches this fall. Got beat 6-2 6-3 by Mitchell Frank. Lost in a close one to Costin Paval and lost to #36 Anthony Rossi.

Busy weekend. #10 Duke got a big road win at #32 Michigan 4-3. #7 Cunha beat #6 Evan King 5,1. Mich won doubles point but the Blue Devils were too tough, winning all 4 of their singles matches in straight sets.

In an SEC-ACC matchup, #13 Tennessee won on the road at #15 Georgia Tech. #9 Evan King was able to get a win, 7-6 in the 3rd. Tennessee freshman Hunter Reese won in 3 sets at #3.

Tennessee lost to Memphis on Friday so it was impressive that they were able to bounce back with the win.

Stanford slipped by by Tulsa 4-3. Stanford also beat UNC 5-2 and then UNC beat Tulsa 5-2

Hey Ozone what are your thoughts about Wake Forest this year?
Well this new coach has the #6 class for 2012, and he's got a couple new guys for this spring semester. I think we may do a little better than expected, which (even though we are #41) will be nice because n the past we've been doing the opposite. Kreyman and Lee will have to have very good years if the team wants a shot at postseason

It's amazing the difference between college tennis and professional tennis. Cunha was number 2 and is actually in top 10, but he lost in the beggining of the year to a guy ranked like 1,000 in an ATP Challenger.

All of the hosts advanced to the national indoors tournament except Georgia Tech, who fell to Auburn who went on to win that region. Tennessee surprisingly was able to beat Ole Miss to get to Charlottesville.

28 LSU def 72 Clemson 5-2

recap

we lost doubles after leading 5-1 on court 1 and 4-2 on court 3. Both teams went on a bad spell and lost 7 and 6 games in a row respectively.

singles: (Clemson won at #1 and #3)

1. 59 Yannick Maden def. 68 Olivier Borsos 6-4 6-2 - Maden used his formula. The same formula that beat Boyajian and Spir last year. That is, sneak out the first set after a evenly matches set then cruise away in the 2nd.

2. Neal Skupski def. Gerardo Meza 6-4, 6-0 - Expected result. #2 is a little high for Meza

3. Dominique Maden def. Chris Simpson 6-1, 0-6, 6-2 - Streaky match by the look of the scoreline. This is typical for D/Maden's fire away style of play

4. Tom Knights def. Cedric Willems 6-4, 6-4 - Tight match. Knights showed grit in taking the 2nd set after being down 4-3

5. Stefan Szacinski def. Hunter Harrington 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4) - Another close loss for Harrington. Hopefully he can start turning thses into wins very soon.

6. James Turbervill def. Zachary Rigsby 6-1, 6-3 -A little disappointed in the scoreline

Well it looks like that could be a win for us, so I may have to check it out. After this year's team, Wake is going to be completely different. Zinn's boys out, Bresky's in. Whole new team

#25 ·
Im hoping Clemson will win that. Wake is very weak at 5 and 6.

also straitup94's boys the Utah Utes have 3 players in the top 125 in the new rankings. at 50, 123 and 124
