Re: Tennis shoes

I got some Nike t-lite XL shoes that are very good . Very comfortable on hard courts . I am trying to get another pair . No where on the Internet seems to have the exact pair I bought . So I am going back to where I got them from soon , to buy a spare pair .

Re: Tennis shoes

nike zoom vapor 9's are incredibly lightweight and comfortable, but the soles go completely bald after 4-6 weeks (i play on hardcourts 8-12 hrs a week during the summer). they're rather expensive at $130 a pop but well worth the investment imo.

T.C I like Asics Gel Resolution 3. I had stocked up with 4 pairs but wore them all out so bought 2 pairs of the Asics Gel Resolution 4 (on sale) which I didn't like as much - it has too much padding. luckily I found more of the 3!

I play in Asics Gel indoor trainers and they are very comfortable, they cost £60 and they're actually running shoes but they're very good. Barely a mark on them ! made a big mistake of buying some Mountain Warehouse Lockton Waterproofs. Outdoor shoes built for going on rocks I think but there quite bulky and much harder to move freely in. I still managed to win two short sets of singles in them thought. They where a little over half the price of the Asics .

Re: Tennis shoes

I always prefer Adidas because it is so comfortable that I can put my leg into shoes for long time.

Re: Tennis shoes

I prefer a flat shoe which is without heel; it is always good especially for tennis whether it is of Nike or Adidas.

Re: Tennis shoes

Playing tennis is all about sudden starts and stops, as well as moving quickly from side to side. The trouble is that, during extreme stopping, cornering, and pivoting, if the sneaker's outsole is too rigid, the tennis player loses contact with the playing surface, which results in a loss of footing. In addition, since runners do not usually move sharply sideways, while "on the run," the running shoe sole is totally unsuitable for the sideways movements a tennis player makes.

Re: Tennis shoes

The best tennis shoes I got as a present from Lotto. It was a special edition for Wimbledon. 5+ years now and they are in great condition. I use them both in clay and hard courts. They are very good on grass as well. But in general, Nike's shoes has the best fit but don't last long
