Re: Fringe (TV Series)

To be fair, I consider the 'true' end of the series to be the Series 4 finale.

This was just a bit of fun, though it was all resolved well, even if the finale was mostly exposition.

I never was a big fan of SciFi series, but this show has been pretty amazing.

End of the series

Series finale.

Some emotional scenes, it's still a mystery why John Noble never got an emmy for his performances.
Uploaded this today, and will do some other scenes from the last episode. Sad and glad that the show came to an end.

Decent first episode back. I'm expecting them to freak us out with all the weirdness from next week.

Can't see them getting rid of Peter, but he might not be in every episode this year.

Fringe is back

4th season has already begun. I am delighted Seth Gabel is in the main cast
If they don't bring Peter back and as Peter himself and not someone new I'll... I'll not watch it anymore., I don't think I can abandon the series but I'll be

Re: Fringe (TV Series)

I am very happy our fears that moving Fringe to Friday may mean a death sentence for the series were proven wrong. It is doing very well 2nd straight week. Let's hope it will continue like that even when Supernatural comes back

"Fringe showed last Friday’s rating was no fluke, my friends.

The Fox drama delivered 4.6 million viewers and another 1.9 preliminary adults 18-49 rating last night.

Fringe held steady despite its lead in, Kitchen Nightmares (4 million, 1.7), dropping two tenths from last week’s debut.Everybody thought Fringe would have to face Supernatural this week, but that face-off has been delayed until next Friday. The CW decided to give the returns of Vampire Diaries (0.6) and Nikita (0.4) an encore airing instead."

I read producers have said that even if the series was not picked for a 4th season they were ready with a full ending to the story in season 3.

From Fringe trivia

"In season one the Fringe team has several encounters with a man named David Robert Jones. In the second season they fight a visitor from the alternate universe named Thomas Jerome Newton. "David Robert Jones" is the real name of the singer/actor David Bowie and "Thomas Jerome Newton" is the name of the character he plays in the movie "The Man Who Fell to Earth".

David Bowie? Why him? It would be awesome if he did a cameo in Fringe

Well we'll see won't we.

Apparently fox's ratings on Fridays are abysmal and if people watch it on Friday it'll be fine for now.

Moving Fringe to Friday=death sentence I really hate Fox.

This show better not get cancelled - question for the Americans - is it going along the same lines as flashfoward in terms of poor ratings and the network wanting to cut it off?
FF was doing better than Fringe. I remember when it returned with 2 episodes after the hiatus it scored something like 6.5 million viewers. But I think by then they have already decided it will go after season 1. There were many problems with FF. The original showrunners one by one have left the show long before it ended. I haven't read there are any problems like that with Fringe.
Lie to me was doing pretty bad last year (2.7-3 million viewers) but Fox still ordered another season. Now it is not doing much better than Fringe but they still keep it on Monday.

Apparently Friday is a death sentence for sci-fi shows (see Firefly, Sarah Connor). I hate Fox.
