Re: Juniors

Don't know much about him but thought I'd mention Serdarusic won a G2 in Spain.

Kekez has gone as high as #560 in singles (#592 now). Interestingly, he won this week's Croatia F ($10K):

+ In R2 he beat Ignatik (#278, CH #137) 63 64
+ In the SF he beat Lizariturry (#320) also 63 64
+ In the F he crushed Granollers-Pujol (#228) 61 61

Excellent week for Duje Second singles title ever and he did it without losing a set, against some tough opposition.

He plays again in Croatia next week. Good luck!

Domagoj Biljesko won his first professional match yesterday, at the Zagreb $15K.

He lost today in R2 but took the #5 seed, Dubarenko (#332), to three sets. Not bad.

Nino up to #27. But he has stumbled badly lately, winning only one singles match in his last four tournaments.

He's still only 15 (for another month) and there are only 12 players ranked higher who are younger.

Re: Juniors

Nino Serdarusic up 11 spots to #41, a new CH ranking. Well done

Only eight players are younger and ranked higher.

He's playing Eddie Herr this week, where he's the #16 seed in singles (whew!) and #5 in doubles.

Won the doubles SF. He and partner are the top seeds, and will play the #3 seeds in the final.

...but lost the singles SF

Still, a successful week for Nino. He was the #5 seed in singles, so he did well to reach the SF. Next week he'll get a new CH ranking and break into the top 50 for the first time.

When the 1995 boys drop off the rankings at the beginning of the year, Nino should be ranked around #25.

Also, he has very few points to defend until July.

Re: Juniors

Nino Serdarusic, born Dec '96, is at his CH ranking this week: #58.

At Osaka GA this week, he's into the R16 in singles and in doubles, which will give him a new CH ranking. If he wins his next singles match, he'll enter the top 50 next week.
