Re: Peter Polansky

Unbelievable. Wu was in New York winning the USO juniors a mere 36 hours or so before this match started (3pm NY time, 3am on Monday in Shanghai). Logistically I'm not even sure how he got back for the match, and then to win it...

Peter's Asian vulture swing not off to the best start

Re: Peter Polansky

Thinking a crushing loss in the last round of qualies with that the usual.

Re: Peter Polansky

US Open qualies draw is out. Ok draw for Peter. Opens against Kravchuk, then Napolitano or Rola, and probably Halys in round 3. When this pretty decent draw is the 2nd toughest draw of the 5 Canadian guys you know you got it pretty lucky. The sections are very unbalanced. Glad nobody landed in the hell of draw that is the 11th section

Uh oh... he's played a ton of tennis the last month, hope its not the same wrist injury that kept him out for almost a year

Re: Peter Polansky

Polansky has pulled out of Vancouver with a wrist injury.

Re: Peter Polansky

Peter has about 100 more points to defend this year, meaning if he can keep his form and snag 200 points before the end of the season, he'll be top 100 for the first time and qualify for the AO without qualies.

Brad1973 ...sorry, that's Los Cabos, not Washington

Brad1973 Great win in the first round of Washington. One of his only wins at the main tour level. Especially if you exclude Toronto/ Montreal, I think it's only his third. He has a winnable match in the second round

Wins the match 7-5 7-6(5). Kokkinakis up next.

Hilarious I followed the game at 5-5 in the first where he saved I think 8 BP's - really liking this clutch Peter
