Not that I've seen. I'm hopeful that no news means that proper rest is all that's needed to heal. If surgery was planned, I think that would have been announced, as it would have affected tournament commitments.

Something tells me that Milos will be at the NBA all-star game festivities this weekend in some capacity, since he was so excited about participating in it, and we'll learn more detail about how he's feeling then.

Re: Milos Raonic

I'm really impressed with the way he's playing at the Aussie open. His movement side to side has improved dramatically. It would be quite an accomplishment if he beats Stan.

Re: Milos Raonic

Hmm, interesting that there is no Madrid. Maybe he will commit later (and M\maybe Barcelona as well?). Doesn't really make sense to play the 1st clay event in Monte Carlo and then take 3 weeks off before Rome.

Re: Milos Raonic

His website has the following schedule listed:

Australian Open
off
off (NBA All Star weekend)
Delray Beach (250)
Acapulco (500)
DC
Indian Wells (1000)
Miami (1000)
off
Monte Carlo (1000)
off
off
off(Madrid)
Rome (1000)
off
French Open
off
Queen's (500)
off
Wimbledon
(DC QFs)
off
Toronto (1000)
off
Olympics
Cincinnati (1000)
off
US Open
(DC SFs/Play offs)
St. Petersburg
off
Beijing (500)
Shanghai (1000)
off
off
Paris (1000)
WTF

So he's only scheduled for 3 500s currently, I'd expect him to pick up one of Vienna or Basel or possibly Washingotn if Canada gets knocked out of DC in the first round.

Re: Milos Raonic

Yup...and just checked the entry list posted here he is playing in Mexico which is a 500. He needs to be in 4. so it seems like it will be Mexico then Queen's (or Halle), and any two of China/Japan and Basel/Vienna.

I think he'll skip Washington again especially if Canada makes it to the QFs of DC, that way he'd have Wimbledon -> DC -> off (Washington is here) -> Toronto -> off -> Olympics -> Cincy. If they don't make the QFs then maybe he plays Washington?

Agreed. However, I was originally puzzled late last year when he was announced as going to Delray giving him a sched of:

off-off-Delray-Mexico(?)-DC-IW-Miami

since

off-Rotterdam-Marseille-off-DC-IW-Miami

makes more sense (split up the tourneys;Rotterdam is a 500 vs 250. And at that point I think it was probable that DC would be in Europe, not in the Caribbean.

But now it makes sense.

Re: Milos Raonic

Ah, so this explains why Milos is skipping Rotterdam 2nd week of Feb:

Drake, Nash, Bautista to coach Team Canada vs. USA at NBA All-Star Celebrity Game - Sportsnet.ca

he's playing in the NBA all-star celeb game.

Milos was my Player of the Week this week. He did a great job against Roger. Passing shots :: Raonic is Passing Shots Player of the Week

Re: Milos Raonic

I just hope he can avoid Djokovic's half. He's currently seeded 13th, which means he'll draw 1-4 for R16. I know Anderson had knee issues that caused to withdraw from Chennai, but he's still listed in the draw for Auckland.
