At least Gilbert is probably blunt about everything.

He's had a solid tournament in Atlanta so hopefully it's helping!

His game's been going backwards lately anyway, time to change it if it isn't working, maybe he will put more thought into hiring his next one.

Seeing how Harrison dropped 8 ranking places lately and had a horrible Asian tour, it was predictable. But did Doyle drop Harrison or Harrison drop Doyle?

Maybe Roddick will coach him, Harrison's like a lapdog when around him.

yeah but i've heard of coaches dumping players. And even so there's got to be a reason that he cant make things work and it cant be all the coaches fault

I think it's usually the player who get's rid of the coach and not the other way around, cause you know, the player is paying for their coach, so they can do whatever they want.

I would have to say that you are 100% SPOT ON with this post! At the end of the day, Pat Harrison is calling the shots as long as Ryan listens to him. Remember Ryan is now 19 turning 20 next year and will be making his own decisions OR he will soon discount what his father thinks and do what HE wants period!

Apparently he has relocated to Austin, bought a house there, and is working with Grant Doyle on a fulltime basis.

We will see how this works out for him. Judging on his past coaching relationships, this could be another short term deal.

Ryan Harrison will be working with Grant Doyle

Breaking news: Ryan Harrison will be working with Grant Doyle, who formerly coached Sam Querrey. He's in Austin, where Doyle is based, now
