Rafkei, you're right! He won three qualies, including a very tough one in the third round!
Let's hope he will be well rested and pain free next week!

i wasnt going to believe it until he said something himself

Poor Kei, but it's lucky that he is still healthy and is able to play Wim. Good luck in Wim kei

i really hope the injury is not serious. On a positive side, he won 3 matches in the qualifying that's good!

Sorry I don't have facebook account so can't look at the link chewy provided. But according to another site, he hurt his hip during the second match on Saturday, and he had some pains today too so he took precation and retired. Both the tournament doctor and Kei's medical team think the injury is not serious.
So maybe it's a blessing in disguise because now he can have some treatment as well as rest before the grass court slam!
That's a relief, my spirit is up again!
And btw (off topic) Japan won against Cameroon, surprise, surprise! Saw the goal from Honda then it kept me watching the rest of that match.

PS. DanaKz actually brought the facebook link to our attention; anyway thanks to both of you for follwoing up with the updates.

I don't know, but he's probably in no mood to follow the match now.

I had no hope for Japan in South Africa but they've managed to lead Cameroon 1-0 after the first half! (Watch them screw it up in the second half... )

I've been keeping my eyes on several sites for updates on Kei but so far no information.
