They fucked a zone of one of courts once in 2011 because of it, iirc. They never covered the courts since then. Not worth the risk of having the court damaged, better wait and dry the court afterwards.

When is that roof going to be finished? In 2050? And we are talking about The United States of America. Silly. For years the USTA was claiming it's not possible which was stupid. Now, it's suddenly possible. It's been possible for a long time.
you guys are exaggerating. They only agreed to do it last year. I think 2 years is not so bad. The delays with the French Open roof are worse.
