Baseball is by far the worst, even wta tennis is better. College football can also be flaky but is better. NFL is the most predictable.

Well Ive done good with college football today, sorry forgot to post the plays. Just wait for the weekends and bet football, NFL and college. Betting on these beer bellied wimps pitching and swinging bats is a vaccum cleaner on your money. Just too hard to predict who will break the scoring open or be able to shut it down. In baseball the team that strikes first blood usually wins.

That is a generous total for Weaver versus Zito. Chalk is at -110 and I expect it to increase. 5 of the last 6 meetings between these two teams have been settled by a 5 or less run total. Weaver has been pitching deeper into games and the Angel bullpen has been sharp. Weaver has given up 2 runs or fewer in 12 of his 17 starts. In his last start he pitched 7 scoreless innings in Tx. Zito has a 1.72 ERA in two starts against the Angels this year, plus the Angels have not been hitting well, averaging just two runs a game in their last three, none of it involving pitching of the caliber of Zito.

Twins over Orioles, -116

Never underestimate the spoiler role this time of year but I don`t see it happening tonight. The Twins have won 13 of their last 16, are 4-2 in the season series with the Orioles, and have Silva on the mound who has been on a major roll, is 2-0 with a .90 ERA in his last two starts. Cabrera is going the other direction. After a solid August, he has gone 0-2 with a 7.78 ERA this month in four starts. Look for the Twins to redeem themselves from their embarrassing loss last night in Boston.

Two mediocre pitchers, two teams, both out of the playoff race, with real offensive capability... Foreboding hangs over the head of Paul Byrd as he enters Ameriquest field. He is 0-3 there posting a 9.54 ERA, Rangers hitting .361 off him. Indians were in Northern Cal last night and flew accross two time zones while the Rangers rested at home. Rangers have averaged over 8 runs a game in their last 5, the Indians less than 3. Friday night lights, rednecks, white socks, and blue ribbon beer, it`s smackdown time in Texas...;-) Take the runline.

1-2

Silva didnt show up to pitch for Mn. The under was about fly at 4-3 but the As pitcher blew the save giving up a double with 2 outs top of the ninth man on first. That`s all for baseball this year. Won a bit back this week, you can study trends but when it comes down to it, wta tennis players are at least as predictable as these beer bellied boys. And that`a no compliment.... Adios amigos.
