Re: NCAA Wednesday

Happy - there are two theories about Florida. Either they'll be much better without Roberson, Lee and Walsh or they we'll be in rough season without those guys.

jackieglover - they were much better then there record. they showed it at the end of the season.

Re: NCAA Wednesday

Was Oakland actually a solid club? Didn't they enter the tourney with a 12-18 or 13-16 clip or was that some other team?

NCAA Wednesday

NCAA Basketball YTD: 1-0 (+1 unit)
5* 0-0 (Even)
4* 0-0 (Even)
3* 0-0 (Even)
2* 0-0 (Even)
1* 1-0 (+1 unit)

1* Albany (-3) (-120) Over Oakland - Bought 1/2 pt

Neutral site game as both teams traveled to Gainesville, Florida to face off in the South Region of the Coaches vs Cancer Classic. Oakland was a very solid team last year. They made it to the NCAA tourney where they were a 16th seed and was rightfully bounced out in the first round. This years team lost 4 starters from that squad. They do have a couple of good transfers but they won't be eligible till mid-december. Oakland recruited some solid players but it remains to be seen how quickly the new squad will adapt to one another. On the flip side you have Albany. It's hard to get a read on how good this team will be this season. Most publications predict them to win the America East Conference this season. Is that because they are so good or is it really cause the top 3 teams from last season lost the majority of there starters. Still Albany returns 4 starters from a solid team last season and are looking for a great season. Where Oakland has it's best options Albany is able to counter that with there best options so at this low line I have to give the advantage to the more expierenced team. The Great Danes for me.

Good Luck to All!!!!!
