Re: Interview with G. Monfils in Sopot!

-Why does he play the last tournaments of the season on clay instead of playing on hardcourt which is, it seems, his favourite surface?
-What are his feelings about his play on this surface?
-What does it feel like reaching your first quarterfinal on the ATP tour this year (after the one in Metz last year) and moreover on clay (!!)?
-How does it feels for him to partner triple RG Champion Gustavo 'Guga' Kuerten in doubles in Sopot?
-What are his hopes for the hardcout season?
-What was it like being the reserve player for the second time in the French DC team against Russia?
-Does he know if Gasquet's injured (wrist) or if he's just taking a longer break to prepare better (since if he suffers from an injury he must have got it playing his DC matches...)?
-Is he adapting well to the pro tour? How was the beginning of his first pro season so far? Do you think you have progressed, gained in experience?
-What, in his opinion, does he have to work on to be a "better" player?
-How are his relationships with his coach Thierry Champion and his physical trainer Rémi Barbarin going? (I read that Champion had to "shake" him up a little bit before Wimbledon for exemple...)
-Would he consider showing his passion differently on the court and doesn't he think that he get carried away and does a bit "too much" in this department sometimes?
-Nobody seems sure of this so: Is he born in "La Courneuve" or in "Bobigny"?
-Doesn't it bother him always being compared with Arthur Ashe or Yannick Noah (or ppl assuming he considers them as role models...) just because he's a black player?
-Why doesn't he like grass?
-What was it like befriending/socializing with Marat safin in Wimbledon (being called "Junior" by him, discussing about why they hated grass, how they tend to loose their temper too fast etc...)?
-What was it like playing the mixed doubles with French hope Alizé Cornet in RG 2005 (with her teasing him about the fact that she was the one who wondered if she was going to partner him after his expeditive first round loss against Cañas and his "a priori" doubts not knowing if he could get something out of this partnership...and then everything ending up well between the two of them...)?
- (LOL! Please don't laugh at me for this one... ) What does he think about the fact that some ppl like hthe way he plays because of his movements on the court when they say they think it's like as if he had an "elastic body"?
-Does he keep a good memory of last year's Paris Bercy TMS (the atmosphere notably when he fired up the crowd etc...)?
-Does he regret a lot not achieving the Grand Slam in Juniors?

Feel free to correct any English syntaxical, orthographical etc...mistakes (im sure there are many)!
Maybe i'll find some other questions to ask him after...

You're lucky Luke if you can see him live and above all talk to him. I had this chance once but unfortunately couldn't ask him any question...
