It's a setting.

User CP --> Edit Options --> Messaging & Notification. Here you can choose if you want emails when receiving PMs or not. No idea why this would change by itself, it hasn't done so for me, but check to see if there is still a tick in the right box.

Thanks for the reply and for trying to help. That is good news about Hopman Cup, although I don't really understand the relevance of the ITF connection. For me the important difference is if the event is played seriously for match practice (Should be allowed in GM), or if it's just played as an fun exhibition for fans (Should stay in Exhibitions thread.)

Mubadala actually started in the off-season this year, 2-3 days before Doha etc. If it is the same next year, does that mean it will it be allowed to go into GM?

Well I'll ask @Slasher1985
There has just been an exhibitions forum I guess, as tradition we put these there.

It is honestly insane that Bhambri d. Ramanathan etc is allowed on GM but that Federer-Zverev from Hopman Cup is not. A number of people in the Hopman Cup thread have also expressed interest in having exhibitions, or selected exhibitions, allowed on GM, so is there any way to make this happen, or vote on it, or whatever is considered appropriate? The low number of comments on the amazing Fed-Zverev match at Hopman Cup seems to be an indication that this topic is in the wrong place / hard to find. Recently I couldn't even find the Nadal Mubadala final thread when GM was just full of the same old "how many slams will player X, Y or Z win in 2017"

I understand there's a huge difference between say, IPTL - and Hopman Cup/ Mubadala which have very high quality fields. But even exhibition events like Open de Caen, which had Tsonga beat Bautista Agut in the final, are banished from GM at a time when there is absolutely no ATP tennis being played anywhere. To be honest, on a tennis forum it's really bizarre not to be able to talk about high quality tennis matches featuring top players on the main forum pages, just because they are classed as exhibitions.

Anyway, just throwing the question out there. Thanks.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

Hello,

What happened to the Abu Dhabi QF thread in GM? Can it be atleast restored in the ruins?

Thanks

/Edit: Nevermind, found it.

Re: Ask MTF Mods

It's not just about your settings. AFAIK, it is not possible at all.

UserCP shows New subscribed threads and all subscribed forums.
Whereas subscriptions shows all subscribed threads, and does not show subscribed forums at all.

Thanks both, clear now.
I thought there was 1 page on which you can see all subscriptions, but that is not the case or not possible with my settings.

What you are viewing isn't the UserCP. It is subscribed threads. UserCP can be accessed by "UserCP" on the top right, on the left of log out.
