Brazil and Mexico got one vote from 59. Whoever it was - congratulations. Since the poll is not locked it's probably going to get more now, but when this was written only one was correct.

Rafa could very well win Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, and the FO too (all 8 clay court titles), but that's it, he won't win any hard court or grass court titles.

All of them. That's why he's going to play in those tournaments, no?

Re: Which South American events will Rafa win?

Everyone overrated Nadal's fitness. There is a reason he dare not play a big event.

If Rosol enters them, none of the three.

He'll be back above Ferrer by the clay season most probably.
You mean Berdych, presumably?

All three of course, considering he's been fully healthy for 2 months now.

"Ferrer is too good for him in Acapulco". what if Nadal comes back and is in perfectly normal form? you think the David would somehow magically do something he has never been able to do before against Nadal on clay? I agree with you that Acapulco vs. Ferrer is probably the least likely Nadal will win but for all we know he could be back in form fast, he's been practicing on clay already for weeks

Re: Which South American events will Rafa win?

weirdly enough even with his long absence and the question mark next to his form, you've got to think all of them. he's been practicing with some pro's lately so I'm doubting that his confidence is really going to be that off. the truth is the fields are so weak in South America I think it would be shocking if he won less than say, 2 of them. Ferrer will likely be his biggest competition and look at that H2H.....

go Rafa!
